Maximum performance tips

The distance between speakers typically should be 6-8 feet at minimum; any less and the stereo imaging will be quite poor. The optimum room shape should be rectangular, with the speakers along one of the shorter walls, facing the opposite side. Placement directly against a wall is not recommended; corner placement is usually the worst of all possible options. Try to keep the speakers—especially rear vented models—at least two feet from the surface behind it.
